Just watched this in true IMAX. Rare and beautiful film craft. Sean Penn delivers the performance of his career. The marriage of sound, action, pacing is for a movie lover truly mind blowing. The chase scenes are heart stopping. This was another masterwork from a master director. Best commercial film in years. An arthouse movie on a 140 mill budget. All on actual film. Lovely to watch, listen to and think about. That piano work to build tension remarkable. Laughs tossed in at the right moments to relax you for a punch. Rollercoaster. Great work. Going back next Wednesday for this masterclass in pacing, framing and camera tracking. Tracking shots to die for tossed in like they are normal.
