What a great album from Rush. A departure from the evolved signature sound of techno synthesis and cartoon character vocals. Peart’s lyrics are powerful and brilliant - with intellect and thought-provoking poetry, matching a newer hard driving sound that will shock vintage fans with a deeper level of bass not common in prior releases. Those who thought they have heard it all, perhaps faithful to 2112 and A Farewell to Kings, but gell aeay from Moving Pictures owe themselves the excellent audio pleasure of getting alone with the best mix - and highest res format they can spin - to enjoy the drenching sound experience of Snakes & Arrows. It is that good.
