Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is purely amazing. The action, characters, and the plot all come together to bring a new hope to the transformer franchise.
To begin, the characters were amazing. The character Mirage drives all the comedy in this movie, while Pete Davison is the perfect voice for the role of a very hilarious character. Throughout the movie Mirage is throwing decent jokes that are very solid to the overall audience.
The main character, Noah, who is played by Anthony Ramos is a solid character as well. We see a lot of the connections between him and the transformers, and his overall character not only brings important to the actual plot, but he isn't just some simply side character to take the action off the transformers. He has good personality, and plays a big role in the plot along with the other main character, Elena, who is given a good background story for the audience to emphasize with just like Noah. She plays a good role in the story as well, and the connections she has with the autobots + Maximals brings the film into full circle.
Now, with the transformers themselves. We see the Autobots and the Maximals come together to fight what seems like an unbeatable battle between Unicron, and his dangerous assistant, Scourge. Unicron makes the perfect villain who brings chaos and destruction. The other villain, Scourge is incredible. Not only is he truly dangerous, but we see just how strong he is, with him being able to easily stop Optimus Prime and the Autobots.
The transformers themselves have amazing character, and fun personality as well. I loved the lessons that Optimus Prime learns, when he is forced to work together with the humans. The leader of the Maximals, Optimus Primal is amazing and has good character as well.
Now the little things. The CGI was amazing, and there is plenty of action throughout the film. The story is simply, yet perfect for the film as well. The old hip hop music is a blast, and the pacing of the film works out perfectly.
Overall, this is obviously the best Transformer movie out of all the others. I will give this film a solid 9.8/10.
