Actual trash. It's nostalgia bait and piles of dead bodies killed off in a style that would make Final Destination blush.

The worst adaptation I've seen. This ripoff version removes all themes of environmentalism, pursuit of knowledge, trust, and beauty of human conquering the unknown for cheap plot twists, meaningless side plots, and taking a literary classic and turning it into another boring netflix piece of dogwater. The people in this show should be ashamed of themselves.
