Read this beauty in 3 days after not having read a book in about 2 years. Good lord can MacDonald write a book. This one was lean, mean and full of that wonderful wit, philosophy and fervor that John D drips into every one of his novels. I watched it like movie, unfold in front of me on the yellowed, sweet-smelling pages of the paperback. Highly recommend this. This book really "hooked" me...heh heh, you'll get it.
