Okay. YES, Cassie wasn't the best choice for a winner. And, YES, I agree that Nikki and/or Ju deserved to be in the finals. But, come on. Cassie tried her best, and she's the queen of Victoriana. I just think that she could've, you know, turned it down a notch? I liked the way all of the contestants thought, and I was so sad to see Jerome go!
I feel like Frank wasn't the best team player since he let his ego get the best of him sometimes. Maybe he has to acknowledge that he doesn't know everything. Nonetheless, he had an eye for color and a passion for design. I loved how well he and Nikki put together the restaurant; I'd eat there.
Nikki. One word: WOW. She's just amazing at what she does, and I loved her room in the first episode, but I also get that it ain't for everyone. She had a quirky way of thinking, and I loved it! I do disagree with what Frank said about her being controlling. NOT AT ALL. She ticked all the boxes in most of the episodes, especially with teamwork. I can't believe that she left in the semi-finals. The judges were VERY harsh, and, to be honest, most of the ideas in there were hers, and they made the place stand out.
Ju's style is NOT my thing. But somehow, I felt intrigued by it, and I'd love to visit her design spaces. She lacked confidence but was bold. For example, in ep. 1, she and Frank argued for Ju's design, but Ju did not budge despite all the times frank told her to change it. Now THAT is admirable. She made a beautiful salon, with popping colours and cool wallpaper. I think that the judges should've seen how much work she put into that. She went COMPLETLY out of her comfort zone.
Overall, I think that it was a great series, just not the best winner. Also, quit hating! Cassie tried her best, so did Frank, Jus, Nikki, and the other competitors. It's not Cassie's fault that some people don't like Victoriana or that the judges are just really terrible. Don't die, humans. Stay safe, especially now! ๐๐ฆ๐ค
