Great action movie. Tons of over the top fight scenes with all the well choreographed violence you could want. Even a bit of comedy thrown in for good measure. The actors are good for their roles so I have no complaints there. It also had a good twist which I only half saw coming. Would give it a 5 but the overall story is fairly generic and pretty vague on the details. Doesn’t need to be an amazing story with an action movie like this so it works well enough at least. They should also maybe look into how guns work and not give every bad guy the aim of a drunken blindfolded stormtrooper but I get that realistic is boring and it’s meant to be over the top. Just think it could have used a middle ground between real and exaggerated. Again, the fight scenes are well choreographed and entertaining, but the gun action just made me laugh on a few occasions. Overall, fun and entertaining movie to throw on with a friend or put on before bed.

As a movie, it’s ok. It was entertaining and had its funny moments as every marvel movie does. However, as a MARVEL movie, it makes almost no sense whatsoever. Captain Marvel is probably the most powerful hero we’ve seen in the movie canon so far, she held back Thanos with all infinity stones but yet can’t take a punch or laser from an unnamed grunt. Photon and Ms Marvel were about accurate. It probably should have been a standalone movie for those two, but marvel likely thought it wouldn’t do well without a big name. Being an all female hero cast, they probably got cold feet. I would have loved an all Ms Marvel movie, an all Photon movie, or even another Captain Marvel movie, with real stakes and named bad guys. I honestly JUST watched the movie and have no idea what the villains name is. Again, fun movie, enjoyable, laughed a few times, enjoyed the action, but the movie by itself just seems thrown together last minute.
