i walked out after 45 minutes. the first 20 minutes were just a cavalcade of violence, much like the first 20 of "Saving Private Ryan", and it just wore me out. "Yellowstone" was also hyper-violent in its first episodes (to say nothing of Beth's behavior), and after about 5 episodes i gave up on that too, although i could see that it was portraying the modern West and its issues in ways of which we non-Westerners are fairly ignorant, and i appreciated that. i would have liked to continue with the series but just got turned off, which is what happened in this movie. and in this morning's news there was a report that "Horizon" isn't doing too well yet, despite the strong hoopla of last month.
