I was quickly drawn into this young black teen drama. The story it told was with the challenges, obstacles and willingness to stay true to each character. The directors have been spot on, the writers have been GENIUS in telling the challenges of not only young love but in particular I love the advice Justin’s father ( Wood Harris) is always on point!!!! To hear a black father speaks with honesty and openness is a beauty thing that we rarely see or hear on television! And to find out that Mara Brock Akil the GOAT of black television stories had me hooked!!! Mara thank you for always keeping black stories on television. You a Black Queen that rocks!💕🙏🏾
