So many holes in the plot, so many nonsensical choices made by the characters, so many loose ends, sequence jumps, long lingering camera shots. I only watched to the end to see if maybe something surprising and interesting happened or maybe the "bad guys" got their due. Oh well ...

The initial premise is intriguing and draws one in. The acting isn't stellar although it's fine. But like so many other series these days Before abounds with relentless mystery upon mystery. No, everything doesn't have to "make sense", be explained, wrap up neatly. But for goodness sake throw us a bone and tie *something* together! I'm on episode 10 and am still waiting for some semblance of satisfaction that seems to be hinted at with each passing episode. Just hoping there isn't a typically absurd twist coming at the end to further disappoint.

I love unusual, "quirky", imaginative films. This was that. But I also found the movie hokey, somewhat disorganized, disappointing - script-wise and from the director and actors. Much of the plot, dialogue, and physicality left me cringing, and I almost left at the 3/4 mark. Just one viewers take.
