I lived through this period in NYC, as a young working musician.
Nobody smoked this volume of cigarettes.
The music and musicianship were excellent. Too focused on Folk music. What about Dylan's work with The Band?
I found this an inaccurate representation of Greenwich Village. They left out the FUN and substituted it for Cigarettes.
As a special point, the Stratocaster Dylan supposedly got in England came in a beige case, NOT black... the inside orange lining was accurate.
Excellent actor played Dylan.. SUPER guitarist.
I found little likeability for Dylan's two girlfriends. Pete Seeger was Excellent. Didn't get around to the Nobel Prize which Dylan sent Patti Smith to pick up.
