Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda make a wonderful acting pair. I am not familiar with Sam Waterson's other work, but would like to know what his acting is like in his other work. In this series, he is alternately borderline adorable and downright insufferable. I really like the son who has addiction issues; he displays very human traits. I am a little annoyed that Frankie is considering abandoning her business partner and that her boyfriend thinks that would be okay. His blaming Grace for Frankie's decision is especially galling; Frankie is a grown woman who has enough sense to make her own decisions. By and large, if you can get past the fact of years of infidelity on the part of the law partners, the series is an enjoyable way to pass the time with something kind of light. I hope that Grace winds up with the character played by Peter G.
