I loved it. Have I seen better series and movies? Sure. Have I seen time travel executed more brilliantly? I think so. But that doesn't matter. Amidst so much total garbage television in an era of crank-it-out-now, "Bodies" stands out as a lovely gem--engaging, with interesting characters and equally interesting actors, a polished look, and a nice score.
To anyone complaining about its time-travel mechanism, I would ask if they also had a problem with the flux capacitor. When time travel is involved in the story, unless the science behind it is an integral part of the story, it doesn't need to be detailed, and it cannot be factually correct because TIME TRAVEL ISN'T POSSIBLE. You can't hold a filmmaker's feet to the fire on those details. Let it go and get lost in the story. Live a little.
I particularly loved the characters of Whiteman and Hillinghead--I thought they were so compelling, well-written, and gloriously well-acted. And I adored the Arthur/Henry love story and how it ended. Incidentally, they were the hottest on-screen gay couple since "Six Feet Under's" Keith and David, IMO.
