Books come in different variations, and when a reader studies it, his experience varies! This experience is governed by, the appeal of the content (both for the novice and the expert), the lucidity of language, flow, the ease by which ideas are propagated and continuity, of topics/chapters across multiple sections/volumes, depth of ideas, novelty and of course, the style of presentation often unique to each writer!
What Nassim Nicholas Taleb has accomplished with this series is beyond words; easily comprehensible, but filled with real-life examples and references for ease of association for the reader, insightful, a radical perspective in the social sciences which are not always so easily understood, empirically presented, and the "eureka factor", the ecstatic feeling emancipating from the appreciation of the "Beauty of Knowledge"!
Not always does one have to sit with a lexicon to appreciate the rich vocabulary of the author's English Language, and end up appreciating it, even with the additional efforts, apart from syllabi and course study, when it's more like a compulsion, than enjoyment. The depth of the presented thoughts flows across various disciplines and language references (in this case, French).
Not every book can be called creation, but this entire series, for certain, is One! Thank you Sir, for making these topics so fascinating. Wonderful!
