From a game play perspective I've been having a ton of fun with it!! having been a huge borderlands fan for both 1 and 2 the skill trees and variations of builds is awesome to say the least and is usually what i love most about the game. Though the characters didn't really grasp me first time around I've come to love them all through their voice lines and cosmetics. However From a story perspective it seems extremely lackluster.. a few of the characters make a return but some are just missing altogether. You see some of the borderlands 1 characters for a few missions then they are not seen again for the main story?? I feel the game is forcing a lot of female characters in your face for the whole feminist thing with lilith, ava, tannis, maya, ellie etc. Dr zed is on the vending machines but is nowhere to be seen in the game? If you are playing for a game-play perspective you will have a blast, if you are invested in story i would stick to borderlands 1 and 2 and pretend 3 never happened :')
