Mortal Kombat lover since MK2011. Only got this game because it was on sale for like $25 for all the dlc. Now I see why. Goofy fatalities (Shao spinning an opponent), never bothered with the story, kameo characters are an insult and a mistake. Why have top name characters like Sonya and Sareena in the game as minor support characters when you could have put them in the game as regular characters??? Also: Madam Bo??? Madam Bo??! Yay an old woman as a kameo. No one asked for that. You literally created a new grandma character and made her as a kameo because you simply could. So backwards. “Hey let’s get long awaited returning characters in the game but only have them as a lame support character that does a two hit combo that tickles and opponent and that’s it.” Really? A big let down for me. Save your money, stick with mk11 or literally ANY other mk game. I sure hope for NetherRealms’ sake they make mk cataclysmic, or whatever it’s gonna be called, without kameo characters, a longer story, and actually have returning characters as ACTUAL playable characters.
