This version of the grinch was basic, and very unentertaining and completely changes the real story line of the original films in the past. First of all Cindy Lou Who literally did nothing in the entire movie and changed the real meaning of the movie (christmas isn’t about presents) she wanted to catch Santa and never sang the most iconic Christmas song! Also the Grinch was not mean, scary, but just was dull and had an attitude for some parts. He doesn’t change at the end and just seems more social. Also he really didn’t have a motive to steal Christmas he kinda just wanted to steal Christmas, and had desire to celebrate Christmas that was never in the story before. Everyone in Whoville was kind to the grinch and Cindy Lou Who and the grinch had almost no social interaction in the movie making it less sentimental. So many things changed and not for the better and everyone was lazy while recording and was not enthusiastic. One thing that gives this 2 stars instead of 1 is that Tyler The Creator saved this movie and the animation is really nice. It’s kind of sad because they cared more about inclusivity and all the “Single Mom” thing instead of THE ACTUAL MEANING OF THE MOVIE!!!!
