I’m not trying to be overly judgmental about reboots—especially when I haven’t even watched the movie yet. It’s hard to give something a fair rating without actually seeing it. But I’ve noticed that a lot of the movies and shows Hollywood keeps rebooting don’t really feel like anything new or meaningful. Honestly, it seems like they’re just redoing stuff we already had, instead of creating something fresh that people might truly connect with.
Take Lilo & Stitch for example. I watched it, and I still don’t understand why they decided to remake it. It just felt like a live-action copy of the original cartoon. It didn’t bring anything new to the story. I don’t get why they needed to bring it back if they were just going to tell the same story the same way.
And don’t even get me started on that new Snow White remake—I thought it was awful. I can totally see why critics and fans are frustrated. These reboots often miss the heart of the originals
