Author Chris -is sensitive and describes feelings of the characters very astutely
Itโs interesting -reports about WW2 and all the horrors of war
The hardships / how people keep trying to do their best - in spite of extreme cruelty of the evil people who start these wars

Absolutely the best series I've seen in a long time
It is riveting and perfect in every detail
Andrew Davies is a genius !
I'm a fan of all of his works and I loved Little Dorrit - which he screen adapted in 2008 with Claire Foy and Matthew Macfayden
This feature of Les miserable is fabulous !
