Like the bad guy of the movie, this film looked smart but it's actually kind of dumb.
For a movie that wants to you to think, it didn't make sense in so many ways.
1. A group of close friends who heard about a sister but didn't know it was a twin? What are the odds eh?
2. A sister can act exactly like her twin after watching her Ted talk videos... Yea right.
3. A guy so rich has to commit murder by himself?
4. And murder after a public trial? Why not just destroy the evidence?
5. Speaking of evidence, the napkin just shows itself up at the right time. Wow that's convenient !
5. "Glass Onion bar closed 9 years ago" evidence. Again, plot convenience.
6. With an evidence so important, so fragile, you let the bad guy come so close to it? Hmm? Twin sister and Mr greatest detective?
7. Also, napkins don't just burn up like that.
8. Oh ya, the gun shot that conveniently hits a book.
9. Detective happens to carry a bottle of blood colored whatever.
10. Ex WWE wrestler can't drink pineapple juice because it's a useful plot convenience for later.
Maybe I can go further, but I think 10 is enough.
