I came for the unique concept, and I have to say, I was impressed by the long one-takes this movie used again and again. That ending twist was well done, and the last like minute of the movie? Dang, that hit hard. (Sorry, trying to write about it without spoilers was harder than I expected, but that was on purpose. Go into this movie as blind as you can!)

Before we get into story, the gameplay and graphics are AMAZING. They blow LoU1 out of the water, and earn the game at least 3 stars on their own. Broken Seattle is beautiful, and NaughtyDog went full out on all the little details as well. As for the story... SPOILERS AHEAD. SERIOUSLY, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. I feel like so many people clocked out in the beginning, when Joel was murdered by Abby. And I understand. But, if you play the full game, and at the end you still 100% want Abby to die, I think you are missing the point of this story. The parallels between Abby and Ellie are amazing, and while it was a risky move making you play as Abby for hours (another move I understand if people didn't like), it truly makes you realize emphasize with Abby and realize that she's just a person trying to survive with her pain and guilt as well. I'm not great with words, so I can't do this justice, but giving up on the game because Joel dies or you have to play as his murderer isn't giving the game justice either. Its worth a playthrough.
