Found it terribly boring and switched off after forty minutes. Asked the wife what she thought, after first rousing her from a glazed stupor, and she agreed. Started watching "the infernal machine" starring Guy Pierce instead and found this much more to my liking. Often find that Oscar winning films, like Booker prize winning books, rarely live up to expectations and are in fact often rather dull.
