Longlegs was the best horror I have seen in a long time, if not ever. It is not one of these typical, new, “slow burn”, 60 minutes of awkward glances then things actually start to play out in the last 20 minutes, kind of horror films; it grips you from the beginning and keeps your attention. It’s more psychological thriller than “horror” but it still has a couple moments that catch you off guard. It is Erie, creepy, unsettling, and intriguing. It’s shot amazingly. It’s cohesive and purposeful. I just watched it, and I can’t wait to watch it again. Deserves the academy award for best f**k
