I thoroughly enjoyed the program and the characters in it. I wasn't sure about it initially, but became engrossed in it. Perhaps it is the simple plot, straight forward character development that makes it so enjoyable. It provided an excellent opportunity to explore Japanese culture and language. I was constantly looking up words.
