I assumed that being a Zack Snyder film that at least the visuals should be good, right? Sadly I was mistaken. Snyder’s visual style has become predictable, uninspired, and uninteresting...not to mention, in this case, completely unoriginal. Unfortunately it goes steeply downhill from there. Everything else about this movie is such complete garbage that I barely made it through 45 minutes before pulling the ripcord. I even tried skipping past some of the dialogue scenes and still couldn’t tough it out. I’ve seen better storytelling on the Hallmark channel. Bottom line, Snyder really needs to stop trying to write screenplays and direct dialogue, as every new attempt seems worse than his previous.
