SPOILER FREE REVIEW: The trailer for the film misguided people's expectations, and it did a disservice to the move outright. This film is genuinely a great piece from Marvel, and Anthony Mackie makes it impossible not to relate to and root for Sam. All of the side characters and antagonists are genuinely interesting and have incredible chemistry with the rest of the cast. The points meant to be tense were tense, the action sequences were incredibly enjoyable, and you are made to genuinely and wholly care about what happens to everyone in it which only adds to the effectiveness of the set stakes. Sam Wilson is an incredible Captain America in this. He's badass, funny, and gets down to business. He puts aside person vendetta for the sake of his country, and he does justice to the film Saga that is Captain America. Give this film a chance, you won't regret it.
