This movie is absolutely amazing gotta be my new favorite animated movie. The art is beautiful and the characters have so much character. It's LGBT+ friendly and absolutely hilarious. It pulls on the heartstrings as well. I will be rewatching this so many times it's so underrated.
Edit- I have read a couple of the one star comments here. And thank you homophobes for showing me the true meaning of this movie.
This movie shows how clear deep rooted and unreasonable hatred can hurt someone innocent. It shows how much judging someone based on their appearance or abilities can wound a person so deeply. Nimona was just a kid like a lot of kids and people in society who was ridiculed based of the way she looked to others. The suicide rates of teens and young adults raised in hateful households, or just those who are different, is absolutely astounding.
Maybe movies meant for kids wouldn't have to have this deep of a meaning if hateful people didn't cause things like this in real life.
