Was a solid 3 star up until the end. Wtf reminded me of a cross between power rangers and kill Bill. So cheesy it really killed a decent film with some really beautifull cinematography. I want to put 3 questions out there to consider and discuss: The Swedes on that downed ship that hit a rock. No distress call to the rest of the naval blockade your sinking and need help? Really? In the first film the virus is super contagious to the point Selena kills her partner just on the mere fact she THINKS he may have got blood on him from the zombie who broke in. The father in the apartment wears a riot shield to protect his face from fluids getting on him. Then in the film Jimmys crew go full on ninja mode hacking up all the infected with no worry in the world blood might get in their eyes or mouth. So stupid, did Boyle just ignore this? And the 70s style track suits outfits. CRINGE... Lastly not sure how the bad reviews posted here are so contradicting the positive stuff from rotten tomatoes and media reviews. I literally heard people laughing at the end on how corny it was.
