I see alot of movies & usually walk away with a great or neutral review. The Lion King leans heavily in the negative. The voice overs & connection to the characters were weak but I could easily look beyond that knowing it must be a challenging undertaking. The tone of the movie was negative for the 1st 42 minutes. I know that because I looked at my watch & was going to leave. The intro of two new characters brought the 1st laugh right about then...which made it worth staying for. Above all...the scenery was beautiful throughout the movie. Yet, if I had children with me I'm sure it wouldn't have been a good experience for them. Not a movie I would see twice...let alone even once.
