This film was the ultimate eye-opener for me, and it pushed me to study the environment and nature conservation. It made me think deeply about the wildlife conservation issues and gave me the reason to seriously doubt human activities - especially the developers, in nature-rich parts of the planet. I entirely agree that poaching is a barbaric practice that should be eradicated off the face of the earth, and although I was born in, and do currently live in Japan, I am entirely against whale hunts and dolphin massacres that had been reported in the past. I can seriously believe that poachers murder humans who get in their way of making money. They are, to me, in the same category as murderers. It makes me sick when older people in Japan proudly display their stamps (seals?) made from ivory. I usually leave the room or the building within 1 minute after seeing those horrid objects. Anyway, going back to the story of this movie, I loved the Kalahari desert scenes used in this movie. I hope it will stay as beautiful in the future, as well. Give it a try.
