I grew up with brothers and a dad who loved westerns. When this movie came out, dad took them and not me. When I saw it later in life I haven’t stop watching it. It is the best western above all else. Characters Fonda, Bronson, Robards are spectacular. You are sucked into the story from the first train whistle. The photography, is great. To be able to see such blue eyes hold such ice shows Frank's lack of empathy for anyone and Cheyenne, with his blue eyes ,trying to hold back his hidden empathy and Harmonica just trying to fulfill justice for his brother with his green eyes. The old west still surviving while the new west is moving in. Guns, dust, horses and trains. Agh now that’s a great western!
