It’s so unfortunate that the beautiful, shining bounty of the Tuscan Earth cannot be matched by the chefs preparing it. The format emphasizing their human foibles is a disservice. It taints the food, the viewing audience, and is a missed opportunity in such a heavenly place. Why couldn’t it be filmed as quirky rather than downright mean? The world has enough negativity. The producers are either not sharp or thought this would bring high ratings, but the proof is in the pudding: People are turned off by it!

Diplomacy over bombs? What an unusual plot. Maybe that explains the low ratings. This is a movie about choosing peace over aggression. Princess Grace’s speech at the end is the highlight, more brilliant than the spectacular scenery, gorgeous jewels, or designer clothing. More films like this are sorely needed in these times.

Extremely touching and very timely … so many current issues are addressed in a sweet, lovely story. The acting and writing keeps your attention throughout. Well-done! Jai Jai Jai

Fabulous, funny, and timely! Finally a movie that’s so real and much needed. Brilliant hip writing, and the whole cast was on point! Very entertaining for all ages. Maybe we’ll learn something by laughing at ourselves.

Incredibly well done. Human foibles sensitively expressed through the ‘nature and nurture’ ~ of a grape ~ Brilliant! The writing and acting is just superb. Working with such an unusual and beautiful metaphor (explanation?) of why people have certain tendencies or inclinations through conditioning to fail or excel is quite a journey.

Why do so many people think all this gratuitous violence is acceptable? Straight-up gore is never acceptable…for what? Shock value? Hard to follow. Slow is an understatement. I’m sorry Mr. Blick, the only thing well done is good casting, but they don’t deserve this.
