If you get used to Paul stuff from the 60s, 70s, 80s you probably would not enjoy this album, but the new generations that had listened to his albums of the 2000s and 2010s will. You get used to this paul, with a voice he has lost, but he improved a lot since memory almost full (2007), New(2013) which was an album that wanted to get more young audience and in which his voice was almost gone, Egypt Station (2018) which was a commercial album in any sense, which gave Paul his first #1 since Tug of war(1982)
Mccartney 3 is a more alternative album, that has no pretends to be a commercial album, the albums Paul named "Mccartney´s" are those who he plays every instrument and allows him to do whatever he wants, it´s a good album the best since Chaos and creation (2005)
Perhaps Pretty boys, women, and wives are the less catchy, but overall every song is fun, the last song is paul saying "nostalgic of times some of us didn´t live".
He gave us to the new generation a historic moment, that in a few years we can say "we live a McCartney record" that was so beautiful
I saw a lot people Beatle people saying this album was awful, and so on but was because they get used to Beatle songs and more music from around those times, for enjoy I recommend to open more your music taste to new music from this
things to have in mind
remember he is 78 years old, play all the instruments, just in sliding he didn´t play de solo guitar, he did it all in quarantine and we didn´t expect another McCartney since he gets an album every 5 years or 3 approximately, he has nothing to prove, he didn´t do it for the money since he doesn´t need it since he was 25 years old, and he just having fun.
But yes if you put it all together it seems to be more a McCartney album but more for fans
