Watched the movie first, thought it was corny and cringy but watchable. Tried listening to the audiobook thinking maybe it was the low budget, language barrier, and bad acting to blame. Nope, the book was worse I only made it halfway before being unable to finish. It really is just a cringy wattpad low quality book. Maybe if I was reading this as a teenager I might like it more.
