Georgia and Trevor Morris

Expected the worst, but am actually enjoying the series! Interesting and fun characters. Intriguing plot makes me want to watch more (even though we already kind of know what happens), and great visually. I like the slower pace and character development - my main dislike of the films was the tediously lengthy battle scenes. I don’t think the series needs to slavishly follow the Tolkien-written LTR history (not many people can boast of having actually made it all the way through the Silmarillion). And neither did the Peter Jackson films. Changes obviously need to be made for film/tv. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. If you’re a fanatic of the Tolkien oeuvre, put that aside and just enjoy this as a much better than average, entertaining fantasy series.
