Blunt and simple, the animated series ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ was a beautiful, unique treasure that many of us hold dear to our hearts. Unfortunately, after finishing the Netflix live action, I cannot say I was nearly pleased. Up until the finale, I was on a seesaw of emotions on whether I liked it or not. The finale locked in my opinion that Netflix didn’t care to follow along with the animated series and they had different plans for the live action. Plain and simple Netflix, and to whomever thought the changes were a good idea, if you have a proven successful blueprint to a plan, why try to change it. You failed to make it better, and I’m nervous to see how “creative” y’all get with the next two seasons. Just follow the animated series, we really do not care to see how ‘you would’ve done it’
