Haven't read the book but I've seen the 2011 movie with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess and compared to the movie the show isn't as good. I found there wasn't much chemistry between the two main actors. Also, I don't like how they redid the most heartbreaking moment of this story.. I felt it wasn't as impactful as Anne Hathaway's portrayal of that moment in the film, there was something so much more heartbreaking about that moment in the film.
