This supposed documentary is awful. It is without wit, charm or humour and is entirely contrived. So far as I could see, there are only two possibilities... either (as suggested) the 80 year-old father was very frail and pretty much ga-ga, in which case the son was exploiting him by cruelly dragging him all the way to the south of France in a small car in order to make the film, or he wasn't, in which case the whole film was a lie. The son and his friend (who made the film) should be ashamed of themselves. I was disgusted (and bored). The only reason I didn't walk out was that I hoped the film might eventually come to life - it didn't.
