This album defined Kanye. We seem to think that his music comes from his creativity,yes partially correct but in truth his music comes from his pain and loss. The loss he suffered in 2007 made him make 808's and hip hop hasn't been the same since. We need a specific mood to listen to a specific album but with 808's it sets the mood for you. I really wish I could hear it for the first time again
