I was excited for this show to debut but when it did, I was fairly disappointed as I was looking forward to a "talent" show. I thought it should be a show for truly talented people who have no outlet for their skills. Then some kid with a guitar who can play box chords and act cute won, I was incredibly disappointed as there are WAY too many shows/opportunities that show case dance and kerioke contests,Mr. Cowell should know. (American Idol, The Voice, ect...) or (you think you can dance, world of dance,ect...) As a result, I wish singer's and dance Troups should be bared from entering as they are simply taking away a opportunity for someone who is truly "talented" with no other way to showcase their talents. For the singer's and dancers, there are plenty of places for them to be the runner up of a kerioke contests or some dance off.... I really don't want to watch shows about a dance off or crappy kerioke show with "heart felt" back storylines. I want a TALENT show. AGT seems to be becoming just another kerioke contest with a dance off. If it is a singer or a dancer with a "heart felt" back story appears, I change the chanel....
