I watched this film with my 11 and 7 old kids and we all loved it. The story is quite shallow (nothing like Coco or Inside out), but sometimes there is no need for sad twists, death, or incredibly mean characters like in other kids movies. If you are looking for a just fun movie for kids, this is a good pick. And don't prejudge based on the first angry birds movie: this sequel is much better than the first one.
