I absolutely love this genre. I don't see it used often like this (ignoring predictable romance stereotypes) and and the historical twist is always a joy to watch. I will say that that unlike a few other movies, there's a much greater consistency with the historical choice of wardrobe and speech. I admit there were some moments where i inwardly cringed (Lucy's dress at the Christmas Party), but there will always be things you see wrong in a movie. The actors chosen to play in 1948 do look a little modern, but they played the part well! I recommend Midnight at Pera Palace if you want a similar show. <3
