Travolta is intense and amazing, playing this innocent hearted, obviously autistic fan, who wants nothing more than the returned adulation from his favorite star that he so deeply feels. The torment and anxiety he feels from the world around him and the people in his life, drive him to highs and lows his character cannot grasp, which in turn makes his performance captivating. The only bad part of the movie I felt was the shameless "Limp Bizkit plug"...although Fred Durst should be commended for everything else....HIGHLY recommend this flick....if not for the story and plot, Travolta is Oscar worthy is his portrayal of "Moose".
