Whatever you go into Sinners expecting, you will be pleasantly surprised. There's something and more for everyone. The scoring, visuals, suspense, and dialogue all do an amazing job telling what may end up being the most compelling original stories of the year and perhaps of recent memory. Weaving these disparate threads into a beautiful tapestry Ryan Coogler gives us the right balance of horror, comedy, and social commentary avoiding overdoing any one thread. I can't recommend this film highly enough.
