The game was littered with performance issues making the combat feel so clunky at times however when it did run smoothly most things felt nice to use. Iron man was straight up annoying to play as, he felt weak whenever he wasn't in the hulk buster Armor. The repulsons felt too slow and i ended up only using them as a secondary to hand to hand combat and the flight wasn't used nearly as much Black widow was fun to play as but felt too weak for a lot of the situations so i never felt the need to use her when no forced. The rest of the heros are pretty fun to play as provided the controls are behaving and the frames keep up. The game seemed to look way nicer in the night scenes so i think they should have used those more to hide some of the rougher texture work. Most of the boss fights are really fun however all but the abomination fight and the end battle feel pretty much the same. The one battle i didn't enjoy playing though was due to having to use iron man to fight it. The story overall was pretty standard marvel stuff, a few of the more talky sections felt unnecessary but other than that it was interesting enough to keep me suffering through the mediocre gameplay without spoiling the story the ending was pretty decent up until they decided to have a really cool final moment be reduced to a few button prompts Overall i would say its a bad game. There is no way around it. However its not unplayable and if you can stick in there for the story i would recommend it But only if its free. There is no situation where you should pay for this game. It is not worth the £60 launch price or any price for that matter. Oh also it has microtransactions because games industry. Can't comment on the other three free DLCs because i haven't played them yet but i will get to that soon
