Not impressed with the coverage today of Renee Lawrence's return to Australia. Yes, she committed a crime, and served her sentence. Yes, there are 2 Australian matters that will be dealt with by the authorities in due course. However, the woman made it quiet clear she did not want, nor intend, to talk to the press. Yet she was hounded through the airports, pushed and shoved by press, and headlines were 'wrung out' of any little item the press could latch onto, in lieu of an actual interview. Not Today's finest hour. Nor any of the other press contingent's, either.
