Not sure why the protagonist has to be a good person for the film to be "a good film". Daniel Plainview of There will be blood is a terrible human being and yet it's considered one of the best films ever. And maybe if you've seen any other Safdie film you would know it would chaotic and frenetic. That's their style. All these people leaving one star on this film because they're pissed about the protagonist is hilarious. If you liked this make sure to check out good time and uncut gems! I found this movie mesmerizing. They did a good job with making the "chaos" feel organic and I appreciated Tim's quippy dialogue.

All the people giving this movie a one star review is mad that this is new, innovative and unique for the horror genre. It wasn't supposed to be scary. It was supposed to show the very first time humans communicating with the devil on live TV, even as a skeptic, I was completely gripped this whole movie. I wouldn't say it was perfect but damn was it fun. Saw with my fiancè who hates horror movies and she had a blast as well. That being said, if you love Transformers, it would be better for you to waste your money on Godzilla x Kong then this. This movie isn't for you.
