It's a beautiful game, I loved exploring the castle, but it's lore is shallow as all get out. There are no consequences to your decisions, there are no conversations to be had with NPCs unless you're doing their quest, all loot is randomized... And the actual Hogwarts experience is minimal at best, a few cutscenes in class and that's it. No one cares if you're wandering the castle at night, no one cares if you steal from a teachers room, no one cares if you use unforgivable curses (which doesn't make sense when you can send a character to Azkaban for using them). The game felt like wandering an empty theme park and the NPCs were animatronics. It's sad. Look what Skyrim did over a decade ago. None of that dedication to lore and world building can be found in this game. I'm assuming all the good stuff was scrapped for time and money.
