I was really hoping for a gritty, action musical like Repo! The Genetic Opera or Sweeny Todd, but instead got a lackluster, drawn out mess of a movie. For the first half of the movie I was hoping SOMETHING would happen and there would be mayhem but as the minutes went by I just wanted it to end sooner. First time I've seen people walk out of the theatre. At least at the end, everyone was put out of their misery, I clouding the audience. The musical bits were the only redeeming factor and they weren't that great.
