Alocer Vancouver

The quality of the acting from the two leads Ariel (Halle Bailey) and Ursula (Melissa McCarthy) is simply outstanding. The CGI was quite unnaturally creepy and off-putting (I hope they correct this for the Blu-Ray as it's a pure production issue). I'm not a particular fan of the reworked music as it sounds too much like a Broadway rush play. Some of the other acting is blatantly bad and is atmosphere breaking alongside the CGI issues. The movie is poorly edited and is too long. It's an ok watch, but I'm not going to rewatch this unlike the animated original. Disney really ought to do their techinical work better, the animation/CGI work for this live-action is substandard for the standard setters in this area.
